Redefinir la ruta: una propuesta para regular las aplicaciones tecnológicas de transporte en Colombia
This paper proposes an alternative solution to mitigate the tension between the public cab service and transportation applications such as Uber, Didi and InDrive in Colombia. It suggests implementing an experimental and progressive regulation of these applications to attenuate market failures, improve competition between both services and guarantee quality conditions for drivers and users. Our study is based on the review of academic literature, legislation, jurisprudence and press articles, using textual analysis and the agenda setting method as the main methodology to understand the market context and the current legal uncertainty.
