Risk Management Reconfiguration in Global Logistics Service Providers in Times of Systemic Disruption : Evidence from firms’ Annual Reports
This study analyzes how logistics companies report and manage risks during the postpandemic period. Using annual reports from multinational logistics companies from 2022 to 2024, the study examines how firms identify risks, describe impacts or consequences, and disclose treatments. The findings show that logistics companies continue to prioritize traditional business risks such as market, financial and operational; while emerging risks such as geopolitical, environmental, regulatory and cybersecurity, become layered into the traditional logics. The study contributes to supply chain risk management by explaining how logistics firms reorganize risk attention, balance efficiency, continuity, protection, and adaptation under global uncertainty.
