Economía circular aplicada en dotaciones empresariales
This thesis project aims to address the needs of industries that lack an established final disposal process for their new or used uniforms, all within a circular economy model. Currently, we face high levels of pollution in rivers, seas, and deserts due to fast fashion. Given this situation, we have identified an opportunity in the circular economy, where the social, environmental, and reputational impact of companies is reduced. Discarded clothing (uniforms) is given a second life, allowing for its reuse and reinvention, contributing to a transition towards a more sustainable textile industry. With the project we aim to identify and analyse the behaviour of the consumer/industry of transformed garments, offering an analysis of their preferences regarding the purchase and use of the provisions. Its purpose is to establish a solution that covers the needs of the most conscious consumer/industry today, where strategies focused on caring for the environment are developed to boost business and the circular economy. The project consisted of four phases: identification of pain, gains and jobs, bibliographical research of the textile sector, digital and face - to - face surveys of a representative sample, analysis of the compiled data and finally validation with a large company in the region.
