Resumen

An extension is an extension of a certain term, this means that when you want or need to extend an already determined period of time, an extension is established. The program offers the PhD student an extension in case they have not been able to meet all the graduation requirements. These 3 years, have the objective of supporting the PhD student in the completion and support of their Doctoral Thesis. The extension request is made to extend the delivery period for the expected results, as well as the annual reports. Depending on the year in which the application is submitted, the deliverables are run each year as appropriate. After the explanation, the stages of the procedure were described, three activities are described: 1. Verify compliance with the requirements to request the extension: Review the requirements, verifying that the academic credits are already approved and confirm the current academic situation before proceed with the request for the extension. 2. Prepare the written request for the extension: Request the extension from the Doctoral Commission. 3. Request reinstatement to the program (if applicable) Make a written request for reinstatement and simultaneously initiate the reinstatement procedure.
