Resumen
Memory Centers in Colombia stand as witnesses and guardians of a history marked by decades of armed conflict, with the municipality of Agustín Codazzi serving as a prominent example of the aftermath of this issue. This article explores the context in which these centers e merged, delving into the history of armed conflict in Colombia and its impact on Agustín Codazzi. Furthermore, it analyzes the crucial role of symbolic architecture in the construction of these spaces and highlights their key characteristics. These Memory Centers not only pay tribute to the victims but also preserve cultural heritage and represent the collective memory of a nation seeking healing and building a future of peace and growth, with particular attention to the case of Agustín Codazzi.
