Resumen
The emergence of the Sars-Cov-2 virus, the trigger for Covid-19, marked the beginning of a global pandemic in 2020. Faced with its significant impact on public health, it became imperative to adopt self-care measures to prevent the spread of the infection. In Neiva, Colombia, a notable increase in cases was observed, especially among the adolescent population. This work ddresses the lack of specific research on self-care practices adopted by this demographic group, proposing the creation of a measurement instrument aimed at evaluating such preventive practices.
