Resumen
Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative condition with a growing global impact. It is projected to become one of the leading causes of disability worldwide by 2050, with a significant rise in cases in developing countries such as Colombia. Although there is no cure or means of total prevention, research has shown that engaging in cognitive and motor exercises can delay the disease's progression and facilitate early management. At the same time, caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's face emotional and physical strain that increases their vulnerability to caregiver burnout, thereby affecting their overall well-being and, consequently, the quality of care they provide.
