Resumen
This document is a research study that explores the different types of materials for the final design of a modular architectural envelope for early childhood educational facilities in the city of Bogotá. The development of the study responds to fundamental parameters in architectural design: harmony and balance, as a solution to the iconic character that buildings for educational use could offer; function, referring to environmental conditions, interior spatial needs and the interaction to a greater or lesser extent of environmental variables; and technique, responding to the issues of constructive order, materiality, design, innovation and technology.
