Resumen
Like all agreements, economic alliances or bilateral or multilateral free trade agreements between countries have a maturation process from the moment the idea is conceived by those interested, as is the case with the Pacific Alliance, a group of four countries, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Chile, which among other aspects have in common that of sharing coasts on the Pacific Ocean and therefore the possibility of exploiting the markets of Southeast Asia and especially China. The general objective of this work is to analyze the behavior of trade relations between these four members since 2012, the date of entry into force of the agreement, until 2023, for which it is necessary to monitor exports and imports that end up showing surpluses or deficits in the Trade Balance in the Balance of Payments and in this way identify what the trend was between the different years analyzed.
