Resumen
The underutilization of public space in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga has generated an increase in the appearance of underused spaces, which can lead to a series of social problems. This phenomenon is evident in the "Las Macanas" ecological trail, located in the El Poblado neighborhood of the municipality of Girón. The question then arises: How to generate a omprehensive proposal for the recovery of public space in this ecological rail, taking into account the nodes of articulation with its immediate surroundings? To address this question, the design of the linear park in Las Macanas has been proposed, which allows for improved connection of the sector through strategic nodes and the optimization of underused spaces. This initiative seeks to incorporate vital areas and value the ecological trail as a central axis in the sustainable development of the community.
