Resumen
Colombia possesses great mineral wealth; however, regarding gold mining, it faces conditions of illegality that affect both the environment and the economy. The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of illicit alluvial gold mining in the Valle del Cauca region on exports. To address this objective, a descriptive study with a qualitative approach was conducted. Data collection involved a document review using databases and reports from official entities.
