Resumen
When companies begin to focus on the care of their equipment, they are not only promoting a good maintenance culture, but they are also starting a reliable management process where assets become a priority. When implementing a maintenance plan, it is essential to consider several factors. However, the vision of the process must be oriented towards the implementation of efficient strategies that reduce time and costs. These improvements require rigorous control to ensure future continuity, with good planning, management and organization of information in a controllable system. This will allow the maintenance of the Caterpillar D9T Tractor equipment to be efficiently scheduled, optimizing its performance. Through the analysis of current information, based on primary data and current procedures, as well as reported failures, an exhaustive analysis will be carried out with the objective of proposing improvements in the maintenance management of the Caterpillar D9T Tractor.
