Resumen
This bibliographic study examines the potential of benchmarking to optimize the organization and execution of civil engineering projects, particularly in small and medium-sized construction companies in the department of Boyacá. Based on a review of specialized literature and case studies, the research analyzes different types of benchmarking, their implementation methods, and their impact on process improvement, cost reduction, and the enhancement of competitiveness in the sector.
