Resumen
The current research was oriented from a qualitative perspective with a narrative design, and its objective was to describe the narratives of new mothers regarding the process of adaptation to motherhood, the possible changes with their family of origin and the relationship with the father of their child. Four mothers with children under five years of age living in the city of Bogotá, Colombia, shared their experiences through unstructured interviews, each of which was transcribed verbatim.
