Resumen
This applied project focuses on the analysis of occupational risks in a retail establishment with the primary goal of identifying, evaluating, and assessing hazards and risks associated with the employees’ daily activities. The GTC 45 methodology was applied, allowing for a thorough inspection in which various risks, including electrical, locative, physical, and ergonomic hazards, were identified. Based on this evaluation, preventive and corrective measures were developed to mitigate the detected risks and foster a safer and healthier work environment. The project also emphasizes the importance of continuous employee training and active participation from all organizational levels in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST). The results provided an effective preventive and corrective approach to minimize workplace risks.
