Resumen
The design, construction and implementation of an impact test bench for Charpy type testing was carried out, which meets the need in the materials line laboratory of the mechanical engineering program at the Antonio Nariño University, in which determine the toughness of metals and thus be able to select materials appropriately when designing in compliance with international standards.
