Resumen
Neural therapy, based on the Russian school of nervousness doctrine, proposes that the nervous system coordinates all the body's systems, and that a pathological process at one point can be reflected throughout the entire organism. This therapy uses local anesthetics, such as procaine, to neutralize irritations in the autonomic nervous system and restore homeostasis. In Veterinary Medicine, it has been evaluated in dogs and cats to treat various pathologies, showing efficacy in the management of chronic pain, neuromuscular dysfunctions and dermatological disorders.
