Resumen
In this research, a process of optimizing the Reynolds apparatus, used for measuring flow regimes, was developed by improving its efficiency and accuracy. The operational limitations of the original equipment were identified and corrected, including a water recirculation system to reduce fluid loss, a dispenser that enhances experimental analysis, and the use of dyes. The tests performed showed significant improvements in the precision and reproducibility of Reynolds number measurements, which positively impacts the educational experience of students and the equipment’s potential for advanced research.
