Resumen
PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control theory is considered appropriate for the broader industrial world in terms of efficiency, as it reduces response precision times and increases manufacturing speed on any number of machines where this controller is applied. The ball-and-bar system is a laboratory device that exhibits high nonlinearity in its dynamic behavior. Traditionally, this system includes a bar pivoted at its center by an actuator. With this in mind, a system is proposed consisting of a ball that moves across a horizontal bar, where control actions allow it to maintain a stable position.
