Resumen
This research analyzes the narratives of three women between the ages of 18 and 30 residing in Bogotá, Colombia, who have experienced obstetric violence, in order to understand its effects on self-esteem. Using a qualitative, descriptive, and phenomenological approach, in-depth interviews were employed as the primary instrument. The narrative design allowed for the exploration of subjective experiences, describing childbirth-related events and the effects of obstetric violence on self-esteem.
