Resumen
The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Colombia and Canada, in force since August 2011, was designed to enhance trade relations and improve export competitiveness through tariff reductions and market access. This monograph analyzes the agricultural sector's performance in Colombia within the context of this agreement, focusing on the period from 2007 to 2023. The study highlights three key products: coffee, as a long-standing export leader; tropical fruits such as guavas, mangoes, and mangosteens, which entered the Canadian market post-FTA; and purebred cattle for breeding (females), a product with untapped tariff benefits.
