Resumen
The condition known as Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) consists of the appearance of nonspecific clinical manifestations such as eye irritation, fatigue and difficulty breathing in building occupants, without an identifiable medical cause but associated with inadequate environmental conditions such as poor ventilation, presence of contaminants and thermal or lighting deficiencies. This phenomenon was recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) starting in 1983 as an emerging complication in modern buildings. The main objective of this work is to develop the design of a technical methodology to diagnose ESS in a typical building in Duitama. As a support for its application, a visually attractive didactic booklet was elaborated, oriented to facilitate the understanding and dissemination of this topic.
