Resumen
This work is carried out seeking to respond to various problems that occur within small and medium enterprises nationwide in terms of their growth and development, which in most cases is affected by lack of knowledge and application of financial management in them. Within these the null or little use of key performance indicators. For the development of this study, a literature review of different authors who have made significant contributions in recent years is carried out.
