Resumen
This proposal is based on an analysis of the area of raw materials and extracts at Esko Laboratories. It identifies problems and opportunities for improvement in the hydrolyzed, watersoluble, and fat-soluble extract processes, evaluating Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. This evaluation includes diagnosing the current performance with these tools, assessing their effectiveness both quantitatively and qualitatively, proposing a work plan based on the DMAIC methodology, and costing the proposed improvements. The objective is to enhance productivity, reduce waste, eliminate non-value-adding activities, standardize processes, and measure results to ensure data traceability. This proposal aims to provide concrete tools for decision-making, culminating in a plan to strengthen the Lean methodology by consolidating various strategies. This makes the proposal feasible and scalable for transforming the area towards an organizational culture of continuous improvement.
