Resumen
This research aims to analyze the trends, horizons, and challenges that characterize decolonial schooling English language teaching in Colombia, in order to question the globalizing and hegemonic paradigms that have dominated the field. To achieve this systematization, a PRISMA systematic review of academic texts published between 2015 and 2024 is used. This methodology was chosen for its rigor and ability to offer a critical and reproducible synthesis of emerging knowledge in a developing field of study.
