Resumen
EVVA was established as a functional biomedical prototype, manufactured in biocompatible medical-grade silicone, that stimulates and monitors pelvic muscle activity with visual feedback. The results demonstrated high functional and emotional acceptance, highlighting feelings of confidence, comfort, and security. At a conceptual level, the project contributes an expanded model of design mediation that positions biomedical design as an epistemic, sensitive, and political practice, capable of articulating the technical with the symbolic and redefining the body-technology relationship through care.
