Resumen
The present study aims to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding oral health among sex workers in a nightclub in Villavicencio, Meta. Oral health and sexually transmitted infections constitute a public health problem, especially in vulnerable populations facing social, economic, and healthcare access barriers. These populations also present a high risk of exposure to infections such as HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and HPV, which can manifest in the oral cavity, affecting their overall well-being. This is an observational, descriptive, and crosssectional study, with a convenience sample of 18 adult women selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. A structured, peer-validated questionnaire will be administered, ensuring informed consent and anonymity of the data obtained. Data collection will include sociodemographic variables, knowledge about oral health and self-care, attitudes toward self-care, and hygiene practices.
