Resumen
Public policies on school coexistence in Latin America aim to reduce the levels of violence within educational institutions. In Colombia, these policies mandate the introduction of curricular adjustments to incorporate topics that foster a culture of peace in the areas of Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Ethics. Accordingly, the objective of this study was to analyze the social representations of peace and violence in relation to these curricular adjustments and school coexistence, assessing their relevance to students’ lived realities.
