Resumen

This thesis project proposes a tangible playful interface designed to support meaningful encounters between children aged four to eight and adults who take on the role of grandparents. It works through a system of manipulable pieces that act as a physical and experiential mediator for their relationship. The proposal comes from an identified intergenerational disconnect found during the diagnostic phase, where communicative, symbolic, and technological barriers made it difficult to create shared memories. Because of this, the object becomes a point of support that helps reactivate interaction without forcing it.
