Resumen
Contemporary industrial design faces the challenge of rethinking its materials and processes in relation to living systems and the natural environment. In this context, the mycelium—the vegetative structure of fungi—emerges as an alternative avenue of exploration that transcends the material to become a means of co-creation between the human and the non-human. This project stems from an interest in understanding the mycelium not only as malleable matter, but as an organism with agency, capable of transforming design practice through its own biological behavior.
