Resumen
The project aims to design a system for the treatment and reuse of wastewater from 50-liter washing machines in households, promoting environmental sustainability. The proposed system involves a mechanical design that improves water quality through processes such as coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration. The evaluation focused on parameters including pH, conductivity, BOD, and COD, which were measured to verify the effectiveness of the treatment and to ensure the suitability of the treated water for nonpotable domestic uses or its safe return to the environment. CAD software was employed to design the components and facilitate manufacturing.
