Resumen
The purpose This undergraduate project presents a control and monitoring model for public works projects in the municipality of Nobsa, Boyacá, aimed at improving execution efficiency, quality, and transparency. The study emerges from the identification of weak project oversight, which often results in delays, cost overruns, and unfinished works. These issues not only harm the institutional and organizational image but also reduce citizen satisfaction. To address this situation, the research combined qualitative and quantitative approaches, applying different methodologies to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the problem. Twenty projects managed by the Secretariat of Public Works and Planning were analyzed and categorized according to their type and budget allocation.
