Resumen
The purpose of this thesis is to design an optimization proposal for the production process of Dulces CYC, a company dedicated to the manufacture of artisanal sweets. Initially, a detailed diagnosis of the production process was conducted using research tools such as interviews, observations, and document analysis, which allowed for the identification of critical points affecting efficiency. Key variables such as cooking time, temperature, and equipment maintenance were measured, identifying deviations and opportunities for improvement. These areas were subsequently prioritized based on their operational and economic impact. With the evidence obtained, corrective actions based on engineering techniques were designed, including adjustments to cooking temperature and time, a preventive maintenance plan for equipment, and the implementation of quality control protocols to minimize technical failures and contamination risks. The proposal seeks to achieve a balance between improving productivity and ensuring a quality final product, while respecting the artisanal characteristics of the sweet.
