Resumen
The following report presents a hydraulic assessment of the drinking water distribution system in the municipality of Cartago, Valle del Cauca, as a complement to a Civil Engineering degree project. The diagnosis is based on consumption data per user and per neighborhood, provided by municipal utilities, with the purpose of deducing the water demand of each sector. Using EPANET software, a hydraulic simulation is proposed that allows for the analysis of network components such as pressures, flows, and losses in the system. The main objective is to identify critical areas and propose improvement alternatives for future projections in the water supply system, thus contributing to urban development and the optimization of public services.
