Resumen

This work presents the characterization of a gaseous Triple-GEM detector, with the aim of measuring its gain and energy resolution using low-energy radioactive sources (55F e, 60Co, 90St) and an Ar/CO2 mixture (70/30). Chapters 1 and 2 establish the theoretical framework and state of the art, briefly reviewing the theory of radiation-matter interaction and the physics of gaseous detectors. This led to the confirmation of the robustness of Triple-GEM detectors in experiments such as CMS (HL-LHC), their applications in medicine, and in the search for dark matter (CYGNO).
