Resumen
In recent years, the consumption of psychoactive substances (PAS) among adolescents has increased globally, raising concerns among clinical psychology experts and health organizations. This phenomenon has become a major social problem that impacts not only the mental health of adolescents but also undermines the foundations of health systems due to the intervention required for effective treatment. In fact, information gathered from various studies reaffirms the thesis that there is a relationship between the increase in social intervention techniques and the rise in clinical prevalence rates of substance use among an increasingly younger population.
