Resumen
This monograph analyzes the management of construction projects involving steel structures through the application of agile methodologies, aiming to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve time efficiency. The study adopts a qualitative approach based on the review of academic, normative, and technical literature, complemented by the analysis of six documented case studies in both international and Latin American contexts. Traditional methodologies such as the Critical Path Method are compared with agile approaches such as Lean Construction, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile, highlighting their advantages in collaborative planning, adaptability to change, and the integration of digital tools like BIM. The results show that the implementation of agile methodologies can increase efficiency by up to 30% in time and cost management, while enhancing quality and team coordination. Finally, a theoretical implementation plan adapted to the context of steel structure companies in Bogotá is proposed as a guideline for future applications in the construction sector.
