Resumen
Water tanks are a key piece of infrastructure for ensuring a constant supply, but leaks pose a serious problem that impacts the sustainability of these systems. This document addresses the main causes of leaks in water reservoirs and presents technical alternatives focused on their detection and mitigation. Early detection of these structural failures allows critical points to be identified through inspections, leak tests, or monitoring systems. Similarly, mitigation strategies include actions aimed at minimizing water losses and preserving the useful life of the structure.
