Resumen
The objective of this thesis is to analyze the meanings of care for mothers of individuals with Down syndrome in the Suba district, based on their life trajectories. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, employing structured interviews with five mothers of children with Down syndrome. This technique helped to explore their experiences and personal resources in the face of all the demands of caregiving.
