Resumen
Urban solid waste management is an increasing challenge in Latin American cities, especially in regions with structural and institutional deficiencies. In Riohacha, capital of the La Guajira department (Colombia), there is low efficiency in waste collection, separation, and disposal processes, along with a limited recycling culture among residents. This undergraduate project aims to design a process optimization proposal for the reuse of solid waste in the city, based on the principles of the circular economy
