Resumen

Cultural identity in a territory is what makes one feel a part of it, a sense of belonging to an ethnic group, lifestyle, customs, traditions, and beliefs. Likewise, the development of social skills for life allows individuals not only to navigate life but also to participate in the social construction of cultural identity. This project explores how music fosters the creation of cultural identity and the development of social skills in children participating in the music training program at the La Piche-Toluviejo district.
