Resumen
The project focuses on the weaving of the atarraya as a language that encompasses various dimensions, including the political, social, cultural and economic. There is a loss of relevance of this craft among the Sanmarqueros, which affects their cultural identity and the social fabrics they have maintained over time. Although the fishermen share techniques and knowledge, the disconnection with their ancestry is evident, which highlights the importance of the act of weaving as a symbol of connection with the environment.
