Resumen
The graduation project presents a plastic proposal based on the experiences of each of its participants in relation to the loss of a loved one, reflecting on the processes and repercussions caused by this event. To achieve this, the project proposes the intervention of sensitive objects that perpetuate the memory and the transition between life and death, involving the languages of painting, sculpture, photography, and performance. These techniques are understood as bridges for the intervention of these objects, taking into account the oral and cultural traditions surrounding mourning and the loss of a loved one in the department of Sucre, Colombia, and the Colombian Caribbean coast, and how this contrasts with the processes of grief. Artistic expression across different mediums reflects the relationship between life and death, and how culture shapes the grieving process.
