Resumen
The present project aims to develop a system for managing the seismic risk factor in the José Antonio Galán neighborhood, located at UPZ San Rafael in the town of Puente Aranda, in order to prevent and mitigate existing emergencies against the manifestation of an earthquake. Such research stems from a lack of knowledge about risk management and the proper handling that must be given to an emergency to prevent it from becoming a disaster. Because the study area is located within the city of Bogotá, where three large-scale earthquakes have occurred that not only affected buildings, roads, collapse of communication networks, etc., but also claimed human lives, this project emphasizes the importance of working on the seismic risk factor.
