Resumen
This project focuses on the design and fine-tuning of an existing educational test bench featuring a Chevrolet Corsa engine, with the aim of analyzing its operation within academic programs in related fields and facilitating fault diagnosis in a controlled environment. Initially, a technical assessment of the engine and structure was conducted, identifying deficiencies in various engine systems as well as limitations in the original structure. Based on this, a structural redesign of the bench was developed and validated through stress analysis and safety criteria, ensuring adequate support and operating conditions. Concurrently, work was carried out to service the engine, notably including the replacement of the timing belt and the organization of the electrical system.
