Resumen
Taking into account the clinical need to perform blood transfusions correctly in felines as a therapeutic option in various pathologies, The ultimate aim of this work is to establish a complete and updated blood transfusion guide that ensures that it is performed correctly in emergency situations. This guide will be obtained through a systematic review of scientific literature taking into account established inclusion criteria such as age, patient weight and clinical status together with requirements to be met in order to perform transfusion such as blood typing, compatibility tests and the elimination of infectious/viral diseases; all this through reliable databases in order to reduce risks for patients and to be able to transfuse safely ensuring timely care.
