Resumen

The ritual is disappearing. The magic is fading, and with it, the age-old crafts that have represented a significant part of human knowledge and manual skill, along with the tradition and sensitivity they embody. People are throwing away their old wooden furniture, steeped in history and handcrafted with passion in a carpenter's workshop, replacing it with empty, particleboard furniture—inferior imitations, but much cheaper and quicker to produce. It seems that industry has won, burying the craft. Simultaneously, the alchemy of oil painting is too time-consuming for hyper-industrialization, and both artisans and artists have no choice but to succumb to the market to survive. The old, slow methods no longer interest people, nor are they profitable because they are more expensive, leading to a technical illiteracy that could cause a significant setback for humanity.
