Resumen
This qualitative research study aimed to explore the subjective experience of parenthood among a group of women who were incarcerated in Colombia. The study was conducted through in-depth interviews with three participants aged between 21 and 48. The findings show that incarceration does not suspend the practice of motherhood, but rather transforms it under conditions of severe institutional restriction and emotional strain.
