Resumen
inglesThis case report describes the clinical management, diagnostic findings, and progression of a two year old male cat with recurrent episodes of urethral obstruction. Due to the recurrence of the condition and the limited response to medical treatment, a surgical approach consisting of a perineal urethrostomy was performed. The diagnosis was established based on the analysis of findings obtained from complementary diagnostic tests, including abdominal ultrasonography, urethrocystography, and laboratory analyses, which confirmed the underlying condition and guided the selection of the most appropriate treatment for the patient.
