Resumen
The acknowledgement of diverse gender identities, in relation to gender-based school violence, constitutes a social phenomenon embedded within the school setting. This issue is a concern not only for the education sector but also for the government, given that instances of discrimination and symbolic violence have increased both in the broader social context and within the education system of Bogotá, Colombia.
